About Me

Hello! My name is Gillian and I am an actress born and raised in central Ohio. I graduated in spring of 2021 from Ohio University with a BFA in Theater Performance- Acting. Being raised by a high school drama teacher and a pastor, I have never been a stranger to entertainment. I would sit in on my mothers rehearsals with her high school students for fun, just to go home and use photos of my friends to make my own playbills and rehearse scenes on my own.

Recently, a turn in health led to my diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. I had been in diabetic ketoacidosis for the entire run of Lauren Gunderson’s Silent Sky without a clue that I was so ill. Because of this, my body-self relationship has become vividly conscious. I am also more informed on healthcare, politics, and nutrition issues that I was blind to before. These are now elements in my toolbox that bring a new light to my work as an actress. I believe that a diagnosis like this has the ability to be a catalyst for creativity.

Some of my hobbies include reading, searching for new recipes, experimenting with makeup, playing with my cat, and finding new movies and tv shows to ultimately, binge.

I am excited to announce that in June 2022 I am moving to Chicago, Il to start a new chapter of my career.
